Gwren Ni Seni Piano
Beginner piano scores in English and Cornish
Sheet music:
Resources for groups:
When piano students in Cornwall get the chance to learn pieces in the Cornish language, it’s easy to see how much they enjoy it. That was the inspiration for making and sharing this collection of bilingual sheet music called Gwren Ni Seni Piano (Let’s Play Piano).
I hope the Gwren Ni Seni Piano resources are fun and super simple for anyone to use. The Cornish is spelt phonetically so there’s no hesitation about how to pronounce anything and the translations are included. The lyrics use lots of everyday Cornish phrases that we use outside of the songs in our day to day life, e.g. “meur ras”, “pennbloodh lowen”, “Nadelik lowen”. And the resources are all completely free for you to use and share non-commercially. Hope you enjoy them!
Don’t hesitate to drop me a message with any feedback at @samsendermusic. If I get lots of feedback, that’ll help me decide what to make next as the collection grows. Meur ras!
