Gwren Ni Seni / Let’s Play is a free collection of bilingual English-Cornish sheet music for beginner music students. Cornish language songs are a favourite of music students in Cornwall but they haven’t had the chance to learn them as often as they’d like to, which is a shame. So Gwren Ni Seni offers a new chance for anyone to play and sing in Cornish through fun, easy-to-use resources which are completely free to download and use non-commercially.

Designed with busy teachers and music students in mind, the Gwren Ni Seni resources are engaging and ready to use with minimal prep time. Everything here has been tried and tested with the help of my talented piano students. No more worries about how to pronounce anything because the Cornish is spelt phonetically - it’s easy. And the lyrics are fun and musical, using rhymes and basic everyday Cornish such as “meur ras”, “pennbloodh lowen” and “Nadelik lowen”. So I hope you enjoy working with these pieces as much as I do!

Please don’t hesitate to send feedback or suggestions to @samsendermusic, I’m always grateful. For example, these could be adapted for other instruments. Feedback is super helpful for me to shape how Gwren Ni Seni develops. Meur ras!
